Seeing early line of -23
11 AM here in Texas
yeah 9am kicks are real fun over here
still think central zone is best middle ground
I need a nooner game. Looking forward to taking care of business early, then sitting back and enjoying all the other games for the rest of the day.
Yes, you are correct. Central time is best time.
The wife should have our baby any day now.
Kicking back with my little girl and watching a noon game this Saturday sounds like heaven.
Spoken like a guy who doesn't currently have any kids.
But also, congrats.
Opening day for ducks, so I'll go hunting, come home, clean the birds and make some poppers to grill during our game. Should be a nice day.
I will be at the game, but we all know I'll be thinking about the post-game QT trip.
I'll be at work watching the game in the office. Thankfully I'll probably be the only one in the group there
Bringing my 15 month old to this one. He came to the NCSU game last year. Hope this one is a lot less stressful.
I'm bringing our two year old so I know I'll get to watch at least a quarter of football before he starts getting antsy.
Bringing 2 seven year olds, a 2 year old, and a 10 month old. I believe it's called masochism.
Oh and I'm sure the people around me are going to hate me.
Dabo asking students and fans to stay the entire game is pretty damn sad. Students are spoiled af.
Notre Dame 2015 was the night after my son was born. I live in Clemson and had to bring him home right about the time the game started. Real fun driving a newborn home for the first time in that weather by the way. Got home about the time the game was ending, my wife went to bed, and I held the little guy on the couch while he slept and started the recording. He somehow slept the entire time during my attempted silent celebrations.
But yeah, don't plan on kicking back any time soon.
We have a lot more perspective than current students (some of us more than others). I would’ve had to have stayed six years in college in my era to see as many wins as the current seniors have and they’re not half way through the season. Sure, they need to be given some grief, but it makes sense they think this is normal. My oldest is thirteen and he and his brothers think all we do is win.
Random stat: Wake Forest leads in the nation TFL (10.0 per game)
Even taking the FSU game out, they are still averaging more TFL per game (8.25) than Clemson (8.0)
And eating left over tailgate food till 2am watching other games.
Wake Forest Defense vs Opponent (Total Offense)
vs Presbyterian = NR
vs Boston College = 116th
vs Utah State = 70th
vs App State = NR
vs Florida State = 118th
Clemson Defense vs Opponent (Total Offense)
vs Kent State = NR
vs Auburn = 51st
vs Louisville = 4th
vs Boston College = 116th
vs Virginia Tech = 27th
Not saying they are better than us or have played similar competition. Just something to be aware of....they scheme to get into the backfield and make the other team work behind schedule.
Unfortunately, Saturday’s slate of games suck.
Your post got me curious. Hard to believe that a team entirely comprised of 2*/3* recruits would have chart-topping numbers in any area. According to 24/7, Wake has not pulled in a 4* recruit since 2010.
What other games?
How many times have we already had to say that this year? Woof. It's been a very meh slate of games overall. I hate to say it but the SEC sucking is a large part of it.
I can only drink so many beers by noon.
Dont feel good about this week at all....
That's why they invented whiskey
At least we will cover #silverlinings
Clemson 41 Wake 14.
Clemson football released its depth chart for the noon game with Wake Forest this Saturday in Death Valley.
Freshman running back Travis Etienne moving to No. 2 on the depth chart reflects what Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has assessed as the RB rotation, followed by C.J. Fuller and Adam Choice.
K'Von Wallace is now officially listed at cornerback as a backup with Trayvon Mullen behind Mark Fields, opposite Ryan Carter ahead of A.J. Terrell and Amir Trapp. Wallace is also listed as a backup safety to Van Smith at free safety.
Has it just been a long monday for me or is that last paragraph difficult to understand?
Long Monday I guess. It's fairly straightforward
It's not the greatest paragraph. I had to read it twice. Wallace and Mullen are backups to Fields. Trapp and Terrell are backups to Carter.
It’s horribly written, and I read it as:
