Not sure I've ever created a thread on here before, but we need something separate for this guy. It's been more than a decade since CJ Spiller showed up here, but that was the last time I thought someone had a chance to score every time he touched the ball.

ETN has to be our starter. No offense to Feaster, but he's just not as gifted.

He's averaging 12.7 yards per carry on 23 carries.

I like Feaster as the starter as he can maybe wear down the defense for Etienne to come in later and run by people.

Agreed. Feaster should start and split carries with etn this year. Blocking will be important since our ol is a bag of dicks.

These two are the closest to James Davis and cj spiller as we've been since those guys left.

I think some of the perceived difference between our OL last year and this year is due to the fact that we no longer have a QB with elite pocket presence. We would have given up way more sacks last year with any QB other than Deshaun.

I'm sure that's part of it. But not all of it. Rt has been a liability

He is the best pure rb we have had since Terry Allen- my dad's voice...keep in mind my dad is a firm believer that if Allen hadn't had knee problems, he would have started over everybody not named Barry Sanders.

The way he hits the hole reminds me of a rabid dog that hasnt eaten in 3 days just released from his leash.

I wouldn't trade him straight up for Cam Akers. Maybe that makes me a homer but I don't care.

His burst is phenomenal, but his ability to run through tackles is what sets him apart. It's like he's put together entirely of the shoulder-drop that Sammy put on the Georgia DB. If you don't have a perfect, textbook form tackle on him one-on-one, you'll barely slow him down as he goes by or through you. Never seen a true freshman at Clemson able to do that. Don't remember many upperclassmen RBs that could do that, come to think of it.

I thought it was a "good" last minute pickup at the time. If I only new he would end up being the best player in the class. And yes, I know it's a little premature, but this dude is more than special.

Just wait to his upper body catches up with the already freakish strength of his legs.

My realistic projection for ETN is that he will win the Heisman trophy.
