Still some in Georgia
I thought of them the other week when I saw the fairly new one in Harbison had been shut down. All of them around here have. Not the best food in the world but I liked them better than the others of that type.
Waxing poetic about missing the Sizzler...
I went to one 3 years ago for nostalgia purposes. Oh my it was terrible. Ruined it for me. I sat there and ate yeast rolls.
The Western Sizzlin is still going strong in Clemson. Are there this Spring. Unlimited yeast rolls, hamburger steak, baked potato as big as a football, and Dessert Bar.
Drank unsweetened tea.
Discount for IPTAY members!
This really doesn't sound like a loss to me. Yeast rolls ftmfw
My last Ryan’s experience and why I don’t typically go to any type of buffet. I saw a kid grab the mashed potato spoon lick it abd drop it on the floor then put it back in the mashed potatoes. I told the waitress. They proceeded to bring out a new spoon for the mashed potatoes.
I can’t imagine walking into a buffet and expecting something good to happen
The fact that buffets have overhangs designed to protect the food from sneezes is all I need to know about whether or not a buffet is doable (it's not).
Wow I guess DVU is too good for the complimentary lunch buffet at Platinum Plus. Smh.
Pizza buffet is the only kind I can do, and even that is rare.
Is that place even still open? Thought it closed again. Not that I know
Vegas buffets are great when comped or half off.
Yep. Frodo’s is about the only one left for me. And the occasional breakfast buffet at Embassy Suites.
Maybe they could keep the doors open if you queers weren't too good for the buffet.
I still enjoy buffets bigly. Just have to know what you're getting into. If you have high expectations of quality or cleanliness, that's on you.
Several years back we drove back from ATL late evening and made the monumental mistake of stopping at the Ryans in Commerce, GA. It was steak night. Every hillbilly and UGA fan within 20 miles was there for it. We literally walked in, saw the Dawg fans chowing down like zombies on Walking Dead and had to leave before paying. I'll never forget watching one guy with 3 teeth hold a ribeye in his hands and eat it like it was a roll all while fixing his plate with more while still in line.
Heard that Tye Hill owns a few Golden Corrals. Those thinks are apparently gold mines.
You weave a beautiful visual tapestry.
I, too, enjoy buffets. There's a Saffron Indian Cuisine in Greenville with a lunch buffet. Quality buffet.
No way I could manage a lunch buffet unless it is on a weekend and I have nothing to do that afternoon but sleep.
No, turns out they're buffet restaurants. I made that mistake before too.
I enjoy the hell out of Shealy's Barbecue in Leesville. Not because the barbecue is excellent, because it is average. But the buffet is excellent, the barbecue is good, the rice and hash is great, and the fried chicken, vegetable sides, and the milk gravy are elite.
Also enjoy Jackie Hite's Barbecue there for excellent barbecue but a smaller buffet. Hash is top flight.
This. Also enjoy the Soby's brunch buffet.
I enjoy pizza buffets and this one Indian buffet in town. A lot of buffets are gross as shit but I love pizza.
wtf is this?
I hope we don't have a surprise drug test for either of those two in the near future
And they Don't charge you for drinks because they think That's ripping off their customer.
I've just started assuming that any time someone tweets something nonsensical that it's a song lyric.
Chase Brice seems like a bit of a weirdo.
What did I just read ?
