Found out last week that the Whig will be open Christmas Eve.
Time to avoid family and drink a lot.
Anyone have a good lunch suggestion that would be open Christmas Eve in Columbia? Staying in the Vista. Wanting some legit food but not sure if there is any around here. It's all chains and everyday type food that I've seen so far
Tin lizzys is the best chain option there
Bourbon and Oak Table. Not sure Christmas Eve hours though.
Motor Supply, blue marlin, Divinos in th vista.
Bourbon on main st. I have done Oak Table several times and won't go back if I am paying.
Mr. Friendlys or Cellar on ththe Green in Five Points.
Big fan of Warmouth in addition the others mentioned. Their cocktails are money.
Liking Jean-Claude Van Johnson on Amazon Prime so far
Pretty crazy post about Hugh Heffner and the Playboy Mansion. Would not read at work.
IN at the young Dolly Parton nudes.
Never task a woman with reservations. Was supposed to be going to check out Husk tonight but instead have reservations at Hall's. Got a well their names are close lol. I didn't prepare myself for the tomahawk tonight
Should have gone to Oak.
Fucking steak was great but felt like I was about to die for about five minutes on the way home. Their calamari needs some work and there's no need for five fucking people to serve a table of two. When we needed something cleared the one guy would say "let me go get my friends". It was weird and unnecessary. And no fuckers we aren't here to celebrate anything we're just here to eat.
I told you. Oak>Halls. Halls is all gimick. Oak is classier and cooks a better steak. Last time I was at oak they had an aged oversized t-bone that made me the happiest man on the planet for a brief moment.
I've never eaten at the one in Gville so maybe it's different, but Halls Chophouse in Charleston is definitely not all gimmick. Place is delicious.
I know it's not really a gimick but I don't really like the atmosphere of Halls. It's obviously delicious. The owner of Halls is interesting if you ever go when he's there. He'll do fireball shots with you.
Oh yeah that guy sucks. Seems like he should be on that Southern Charm show
Where is oak in Greenville? We try to go somewhere decent up there at least twice a week with the condo up there
Only been to Hall’s in Chas for dinner once, but the food is legit. 45 day dry-aged sirloin isn’t fucking around. Should probably try Oak one of these days.
Oak is in Charleston. I've only been to the Halls in Charleston.
I, along with Oak, am in Charleston. The two of us just haven’t hooked up yet. Seems like the timing is never right. Oak is dating somebody as soon as I’m free. I get a girlfriend as soon as Oak is back on the market.
There's also an oak near Atlanta that you can go to next week before our national championship victory
Oak is my least favorite steakhouse in Charleston.
This is amazing.
TIL you can autotune Nirvana into Third Eye Blind.
Is it third eye blind? Thought it was something like everclear?
It’s clearly the Wallflowers
They just want something else to get them through this semi-charmed kinda life.
I know you are joking, but that is the most upbeat song about meth I have ever heard
I have it squarely in my top 5 upbeat songs about meth list.
The first thing that came to mind for me was Weezer.
If quincy's could figure out how to take their yeast roll and put a piece of fried chicken in it, they'd have to open up all the places they closed.
It surprised me when all the Ryan's went out of business.
