I did search the island. They may have just sold out. A pizza connoisseur would know it costs over $20/pie to order those directly from Gino's East and would've taken advantage.

Not sure it qualifies for this thread but went to Jianna's tonight and it was damn good. The octopus, lumped crab, gnocchi, Italian cheeses, some sort of fish, pasta, and cheesecake were all very good. They had some sort of fruit or vegetable on the cheese tray that was killer. Pissed I never asked what it was.

    where you staying?

Veracruz is the consensus for breakfast tacos, especially the migas tacos, salsa will blow your head off.

La BBQ for BBQ (Franklin is still closed until Tuesday), probably a wait so go at off times if possible.

I really, really enjoyed Launderette and Odd Duck which are not fancy, but real high quality fare. Burger at Odd Duck was great.

I’m a bit north of downtown Austin but have a car so I can get around.

We went to a Mexican place called. Chuys last night. Thought it was very good.

May have to do Odd Duck for lunch today. Looks awesome.

I live a little north of Los Angeles so I’ve never tried torchys. Will definitely give it a try while I’m here.
