Will Muschamp can get a little more comfortable at South Carolina.
The university's board of trustees unanimously approved a three-year extension for the head coach Friday, upping the term on his contract to six years through 2023, according to Josh Kendall of The State.
In regard to salary, Muschamp is set to earn $4.2 million in Year 1, with an annual increase of $200,000 through 2023, according to Kendall. The agreement also included raises for Muschamp's assistants, to $5.1 million in total salaries, up from $4 million in 2017.
Muschamp recently finished his second season at South Carolina, and guided the Gamecocks to a 9-4 record and a win over Michigan in the Outback Bowl. Muschamp has 15-11 overall record and an 8-8 conference record in two seasons in Columbia.
Did we know that JaJuan Blankenship was kicked off the team? Sorry if that's old news. Did he even play?
That fool basically said that the ACC had a .500 record against each other. Ya don't say....
Thought you were talking about this guy.
Or maybe he's friend Guy LeDouche.
I blame Greg Reid.
Is this the hobo version of the PAW Journey?

I did not see Marcus' salary listed in the write up. Do you know it yet?
I was told 250-300k range.
Wow. Such a great person. I’m speechless!
Can’t even properly quote a shitty Dr Lou saying hahahaha
It would appear that he talks very much like he walks.
What the fuck?
The going rate for mascots has apparently skyrocketed

I do know that Will Muschamp may want a shot in the NFL at some point.
With that new raise he should be able to afford to attend a few NFL games
Liked unliked and liked this post multiple times.
Tweet from Mayor of Columbia. Apparently on USC Board too ...
More Steve Benjamin Retweeted Zion Williamson
Ready to officially name January 20, 2018 “Zion Williamson Day” in @ColumbiaSC !Gifted athlete & even finer young man. #GoCocks @ZionW32
That would appear to be an impermissible benefit if there ever was one. If Zion doesn't go there, is January 20, 2018 still Zion Williamson Day in Columbia, SC?
Illegal or not, it's pathetic.
Like most former college athletes, if he goes pro it will be in something other than sports.
Considering he's only 26, he knows so much about life - for fucks sake. I'm on my ginger rage because of his quote.
I'm 31 and think I've been through it all, but ask someone who has actually who has been through more than just an ACL surgery. And I promise you, they would just laugh.
What was his situation growing up?
Do SC fans realize that Lattimore was a slightly above average RB? Why do they call him the legend? I legit don't get it, the only explanation is that it's all they have to cling to
He’s the only one from their “glory years” that cares about the school I guess
He didn't grow up on the streets of Compton. He went to Byrnes, and was not struggling.
However, that's besides the fact, people wouldn't believe what I have been through, yet I don't act like I'm some kind of spiritual Messiah.
I appreciate the hell out of this perspective.
The rest have nfl careers to worry about
Pharoh is too busy trying to figure out from which direction the sun rises.
Idk I was looking for any sort of excuse for him to be able to relate to players. Instead they just waste 300k on a broken down running back who’s best accomplishment was playing really well against uga that one time and being ridden into the dirt by a lazy coach.

Wilkins and Ferrell would be just an absolute stupid move to not turn pro early. These guys tear a knee next year they go very late to undrafted. Millions of $$$$ lost.
Maybe Marcus could mentor them. This is the difference between Muschamp and Swinney. Muschamp tells them if they should go because it would be too risky to stay. Swinney tells everybody to stay because that would be best for him.
