I agree. Give Muschamp a raise and extension!!!
Coincidentally 70% of their roster is garbage.
Go Big Blue!!
Out of curiosity, what percentage of our roster is underclassmen?
6 scholarship seniors.
I guess no one Wonnum on the team
By my math we have 26 Jrs or redshirt JRs. The only SRs are the Bevelle twins, Jack Swinney, Groomes, Costa, Sekas, and Tucker Israel. I’ll count Israel to make 27 upperclassmen on scholarship.
27 if 85 is 31.7%. Obviously the 1.7% difference is the difference between 34 and 10 points, or the difference between the Outback Bowl and the Playoff.
Almost all teams are 65+% FR and SO by the time you take FR, rFR, SO and rSO that is a lot of players and a lot of years for would be JR and SR to leave team and be replaced by FR.
Wonnum was pretty good for them, but hard to believe their are not 4 DE in the SEC better than him. If not than SEC is way down on the DL.
I think he had 6 sacks.
Might be HM in ACC.
Holy shit, is that a Tommy West senior class?
I heard Jack Swinney get some play against the Citadel and realized I have no clue who he is. How is he related to Dabo?
Nephew I think
I don't know if I'm misreading his post or what, but he left off Ryan Carter, Edmond, O'Daniel, Falcinelli, Greenlee, and Maverick Morris. Those are the 6 scholarship seniors that keeps getting mentioned.
I knew it didn’t sound right haha....oops
I just pulled up the roster and searched “Sr” and “Jr”. Not sure why the “Sr” failed to pull those guys.
So 32 of 85, 37.6%
I think it's because they're listed as "Gr" since they're graduated.
Falcinelli is a rJR.
He a graduated, but has a year left of eligibility. Not sure why they just do not put rJR since nobody cares what year a player is outside of the remaining eligibility.

Very good points. It should be a concern for fans. There are so many head coach transitions going on that we should be busy NOW solidifying our OC need. I'm sure Mischamp has a plan, but his past makes people nervous when it comes to offense.
That’s a very naive viewpoint. If you don’t think conversations are taking place and a potential deal could already be done or close to being done, you don’t understand coaching and how it works.
Will Muschamp has a list of the top guys he wants at every position and it’s updated frequently. Muschamp knows the guys he wants and is likely in negotiations right now.
The same list he used to hire Roper, twice?
did you look for "Gr" also? It seems like there should be one or two on there
Yeah SRs are listed as graduates. The “6 seniors” number is correct.

While we've satisfied they're playing for another national title? I'm satisfied that our coaches are rebuilding our program the right way. Honestly & ethically. They may be playing for a national title, but one thing is for sure. They're cheating their @$$es off to do it. Just as they did last year, just as they did in 81, & always will. They're satisfied with cheating because it's the only way they've ever won, & ever will win. I'm satisfied with what our coaches are doing because they're doing things the right way.

why (In your opinion) is roper being given so much time to find a new job? Why can’t he be fired?
Because the preception is much better if he leaves on his own given Muschamp's poor history with OC's.
That is awesome. Losing valuable time to learn a new offense to try and hide something everybody already knows
Just have to trust Champ
Seriously. Maybe the perception among idiot fans will be better, but do they really think any new potential OC hire isn't gonna know what happened?
Last two games against Sakerlina and Miami for Clemson.
Clemson 90 Sakerlina 17
Clemson 96 Miami 3
Holy hell. We're going to beat the shit out of Sakerlina again next year. Miami as well if we play them.

Given the coaching landscape in many places across the country, at least one USC Board of Trustees member is thankful for the stability of South Carolina’s football program.
“I’d hate to be in the market right now,” Chuck Allen, a former Gamecocks football player who has served on the BOT since 2008, told The State. “It’s nice to have the security and stability that we have right now. I think we will benefit from that, and hopefully benefit from some of the instability at other places. I would hope that would help our recruiting a little bit. Being stable at this time in the Eastern Division is a very positive thing.”
South Carolina officials still are hoping to increase that stability by giving head coach Will Muschamp a raise and a contract extension in the near future. Muschamp’s new deal, which is expected to raise his salary to between $3.4 million and $3.6 million annually and extend for six years, could be finalized as early as this weekend, a source told The State last month.
“It’s obvious and clear that the trajectory of the program is moving upward as we have seen,” Allen said Tuesday. “When he was hired we had just won three games. Last year we won six. This year we won eight. That doesn’t mean we are where we want to be. We want to get back to top 10 finishes and being a true contender for the Eastern Division. That’s where we need to get to, but the progress is very clear.
They still don't get this whole "back to that success" thing. That success was a 3 year stint, a statistical outlier, a complete historical anomaly. They are currently exactly where they always have been.
Should Hurst sit out?
(I'm posting this because I'm tired of the Roper thread)
The question is -- should Hayden Hurst sit out the Outback Bowl?
I'll hang up and listen
BOT member glad they aren't Tenn.
Alright, got it.
