I know you're just trying to push your dumb narrative, but he began the day trailing, he didn't choke. He was 2 strokes back for the final 3 holes, that's not choking

Got to 18 and needed eagle so he tried to hole out that bunker shot. You've never played golf if you think that was a shank.

He choked. Easy course and he only had to do the back 1 under to play on. He shot two over on an easy course

I understand you like the kid but call it what it was. He falls apart when it counts and he almost never comes from behind

I wouldn't say he falls apart when it counts. The guy has won 3 majors and he's only 24.

However, I don't like his crybaby attitude. Especially when he grew up a privileged kid, who frequently played all of the best courses in Dallas as a junior.

And yes, you can say the same about Tiger's attitude, but he pulled of shots the game has never seen before, so he gets a pass from me. Spieth, on the other-hand, is just so boring and vanilla.

I hate how he constantly talks to himself loudly. "Come on Jordan" "Jordan you caught it fat". It's just weird

Sam Saunders shot a 59 (-12) on the Web.com tour yesterday, only the 7th player to ever do it. Obviously he's in first, if he has a decent finish he will regain his PGA card.

Saunders was 5 under today and is leading by 2. Jonathan Byrd is 4 strokes back, tied for 3rd.

We're so much more talented than the international team...but I was worried early on today. Thankfully DJ, Spieth, Phil, and co. turned it on.

Spieth and Reed were awesome from 14 on, should have won.

Phil sinking that putt on 18 after missing the easier one yesterday was baller. This Cup looks like a total mismatch, especially with Day and Matsuyama hacking all over the place.

Exactly...as Jason Sobel said, hard to compete if you're best player can't keep the ball on this planet. Matsuyama was all over the place.

Damn I thought the Americans were gonna win it on Saturday.

Can't believe that was even a possibility, pretty confident that will never be done now. This weekend was about as dominant as one can be.

Anyone have any good golf recs for Beaufort or that outer Bluffton/hh area?

Planning a guys trip coming up and got the hook up on two of the sea pines courses. Looking for something cheap or good value Sunday morning before heading home.

No idea what condition it will be in but the Legends USMC course on Parris Island could be different and it's not expensive.

The Paris Island course is pretty badass. That is a good hike out of the way if you are going back to the upstate.

Hilton head national just off the Island is the best bang for your buck. Don’t get tricked by any deals going on at Island West or Rose Hill. Crescent and eagles point are very hit or miss.

If you get a good deal on Old South, that’s also not a bad track.

Good stuff. Family has a river house off 21 between Beaufort and 17. I was actually trying to make a tee time at the Paris island course and they don't let civilians book more than 3 days out. That's what prompted me to ask, I was trying to have all the loose ends tied down because I'm a planner and uncertainty makes me anxious. Might go ahead and book a Hilton Head national time just for safety.

Crescent is horrible. HHN was very average imo. If you can get onto Succession, Brays Island or Chechessee, play those.

Chanticleer is by far the best course in the upstate, Lucas Glover, Ben Martin, Bill Haas, and I dare say Luke Hopkins, are all members there. Thornblade has taken some economical hits.

Kinda excited to see Tiger back on the course today. Just tried to get on Golf Channel website and it's already crashing. I think they provide coverage at 12:30.

Tiger is back like cooked crack folks.

He looked great driving and putting the ball today. Chipping sucked but that will take practice to get back. I suspect his great putting was aided by him knowing the course/greens very well but very promising to see how well he drove it and long he hit it.

I’m not a Tiger fanboy by any means but he’s definitely healthy again imo. Even seems a lot more jovial in interviews.
This is coming from someone who usually rolls his eyes at all the “Tiger is back!” we’ve gotten over the years. I’m buying it this time. Fan or not I can’t deny it will be fun if he starts competing again.
