Not sure if we have one or not.
Im actually headed to Clemson now to just go eat and look at the Occulus now. Hope to have some decent pics.
What's the third picture?
I just went today too. Took a pic but won't bother. Oculus doesn't look like it'll be ready in a month but what do I know.
My friend and I went in the stadium and stood on the hill, walked around some. A cop came flying up as I was leaving and gave us shit for trespassing. I've done this before and nobody cared... Guess it's because of the construction. Or because I got too close to the rock.
they really need to realize that the issue is that people can just fucking walk in.
walking out isn't the issue.
Yeah, the first time I realized you could do this, I was pretty surprised at how easy it was. And even more surprised when employees saw me and all they said was it's okay to walk on the sidelines but stay off the playing surface.
Damn sounds like RCUSA/DVU was all up in Clemson today.
This reminds me... What ever happened with the person that vandalized the new case around the rock?
I don't like how the rock case isn't parallel with the goal posts. It's because of who I am as a person. I just ripped up part of a patio because it wasn't aligned right.
That oculus looming over the WEZ
New elevator tower for the North Stands and Boxes. I think it was required once they did the major improvements to the suites on that side.
Saw this on Facebook. Anyone heard anything about the stadium being vandalized? For all I know it may not even be a recent picture though.
that looks photo shopped

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Athletics is in the process of ongoing capital projects totaling $106 million, with several facilities on schedule for completion in the coming weeks. Below is a status update on each of the projects. Up-to-date pictures and renderings of each of Clemson’s athletics facilities upgrades can be found at the “Expand and Enhance” page on ClemsonTigers.com.
DOUG KINGSMORE STADIUM
Players are scheduled to move into the new facility as school starts on Aug. 19. Located down the first base line, the 20,000 square-foot complex includes locker rooms, team areas, training room, a dining area, meeting space, a catering kitchen, laundry, coaches offices, and a player’s lounge.
OCULUS / PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
Work continues on the fan-favorite “oculus” and pedestrian bridge project. Scaffolding is scheduled to be removed by Aug. 17, moving the project into its final phase. While parts of the bridge including pavers and some brick work might not be completed until following the first two home games, the oculus will be significantly completed and the path connecting the north and south lower decks will be open and functional for the season opener on Sept. 5.
SOUTH CLUB/SUITES/PRESSBOX RENOVATION
Furniture is scheduled to be delivered week of Aug. 10, as the premium areas of both the North and South side are renovated. The operations areas (scoreboard, radios, coaches’ booths, pressbox) should be substantially completed and ready by Aug. 31. Seats are currently being installed in the newly created South Club. All projects are on schedule to be completed and fully functional by the season opener.
The demolition phase continues, and fans can see significant change with the removal of the old annex along Avenue of Champions. The lower seating bowl has been excavated, and reconstruction begins in Sept. Avenue of Champions, closed this summer, will reopen to bus traffic as school begins on Aug. 19.
Definitely shopped. You can see the paw in the west end zone web cam and it looks fine.
Oculus will look complete by the first game, final completion scheduled before ND.
when will the bat signal be installed
You may be waiting awhile, like, eternity.
DAMN SHIT! We can buy one of the more powerful searchlights to mount on the Oculus for about 15 grand. Why are we cheaping out on one of the fan's favorite parts of it?
Don't you have one that you can donate or just buy us one.
If they'll put it up there I'll donate it.
Not sure how often they do this, but they stripped and are repainting the letters in the upper deck.
stadium getting her makeup done for the natty season
Saw this on TI. The scaffolding is being taken down off of the Oculus. Pretty sweet.
Wider angle on the CU webcam:
The Oculus looks like the CFB championship trophy.
Chad Morris builds a case to potentially hold a future Natty Trophy at SMU...we build a whole damn tower.
Our phallus isn't the longest, but it's the girthiest.
Just saw this:
kind of looks like a bong had sex with the playoff trophy
not that I know what a bong looks like or anything right
'there's no way that thing will be ready. ' p
Had to google it, never heard of it.
