That chart really shows you how productive Feaster was this year. Etienne’s explosiveness is obvious when you watch him, but Feaster has almost as many long runs, but also didn’t have many 0 or negative yard plays. I really felt that Feaster should have gotten more carries to wear down the defense and then Etienne would rip off long runs against tired defenders. Either way, they both need more carries and are a hell of a 1-2 punch at RB.
Fuller gets way too many carries imo
I still can't believe we had quite a few who thought Feaster wouldn't get to 250 rushing yards this season
falcinelli surprisingly dominant
Since he lost his starting job (after 3 games), he has a total of 38 carries. 29 of those carries have come in the 2nd half and 23 in the 4th quarter (garbage time).
Anchrum actually has more snaps than Pollard. Would like to see his numbers as well.
After the fumble, again, you have to think Fuller isn't going to get carries in a close game.
Honestly, I've been surprised at negative comments throughout the season on Feaster. At worst he's been very solid. Choice has really come on lately. Some burst is starting to show.
Classic wood chipper post.
Choice doesn’t seem to get stopped behind the line too often. Feaster definitely doesn’t. Really excited about feaster going forward, he’s been very very good this year.
There have been negative comments about Feaster? I feel like the biggest complaint all season has been that he and ETN need the ball more.
Instead, we put in fuller and choice to make them look good..
I remember someone earlier in the season saying that Feaster was basically just another Jamie Harper and would never be anything more. I remember being stunned that someone thought that Feaster was identical to Faggot Feet.
I think we can put that particular comparison deep into the dumpster.
Just remember a few here and there saying he wasn’t that great or didn’t deserve to play much. Nothing major.
I said he was a faster and smaller Jamie Harper. I stand by that, although I concede that he’s gotten less tentative about hitting the hole.
Still not decisive enough for my taste. Still a below average at best blocker. But he’s got the best assistant coach in the country as his position coach so I expect him to improve.
This seems very promising for the Bama matchup.
Feaster is good for 4 yards a pop on almost every carry. Just look at his runs against the Citadel, against SC and then against Miami. He's physical and seems to be getting a better feel for the holes and speed of the game. He doesn't seem like he's moving, but he's never caught from behind and he's a big back. If he continues to get more and more physical as he gets further away from the shoulder problem in high school, he's going to break off more long runs. The combo of he and Etienne is something Clemson hasn't had in years. I know Davis/Spiller, but these two run with aggression and then have the elite speed to run away from people. Davis never had the speed and once his shoulder was done, his physical nature went away too. Spiller was just speed.
I think another year of training and lifting for his bigger weight will help his explosion more. I thought he got more and more comfortable with the added weight as the season progressed
Every Fuller carry before garbage time is a wasted play.
Maybe, but I would still rather hand it to Fuller than to Howard.
1. Kelly Bryant, QB, Clemson
Bryant has done an outstanding job taking the reins of Clemson's offense from Deshaun Watson. He's played his best ball down the stretch, scoring 7 TDs (1 rushing) and throwing only 1 INT in the last three games. The team's only loss of the year showed the importance of Bryant to their success, as Clemson fell to Syracuse when Bryant wasn't 100 percent and exited the game after the first half due to injury. He's improving as a passer and has the ability to move the ball on the ground, making the Tigers one of the top picks to return to the playoff in 2018.
There is your future patriots first rounder.
Only time I remember him repeatedly getting targeted.
I was thinking Wake Forest
Felt like there were multiple down field targets against him when playing Va Tech
O'daniel would've gotten more national attention if he didn't play nickel/ Sam.
Yeah that's Clawson. We put O'daniel on Dortch and he ran stride for stride with him.
After we win the title this year our senior class will have two more wins than any senior class in the history of college football
Yeah, I’m not sure that’s accurate. Pretty sure Alabama’s current senior class already has 52 wins.
