Haha, would have never imagined we would have kept this alive.
Wow. Pretty sure lots of us thought this would be the year it was broken.
Clemson Is College Football's New Juggernaut After Dominant Win over Miami
Had a debate about this last night. But just for fun. Who would you take in this hypothetical game?
A. 2016 Clemson Tigers
B. 2017 Clemson Tigers
Our defense right now is playing much better than last year's I feel like but no Watson. Could this year's defense slow down the 2016 offense enough to win? This 2017 team just looks so complete right now.
Ohio State media and fans.
I don’t want to say anything even slightly negative against this years team so will just say I would never pick against the GOAT.
Universe would explode
Deshaun Watson every single time
Just like those gender-confused dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, Deshaun would find a way.
Yup. Not a knock on this team at all, but you can't not pick Deshaun
For me it's really no question. 2016 was probably the best team we are likely to put on the field. That's no knock on this team, but only an amazing Alabama team was able to keep up with us last year. The scary thing is, this year's team is so good I don't see anyone being able to beat us.
Idk, I think we are building towards a better team. Lawrence on offense throwing to Higgins, Rogers, Kendrick, and hopefully Ross is better than that group. Etn and feaster will be better as a tandem than gallman and fuller. Our secondary is loaded more so than it was and we are about to pull two more 5* de. The best is yet to come it seems.
Was it just me, but has feaster fallen to the 3rd team back behind choice?
He started, we just didnt give him many handoffs when he was in
I believe he was in the game before Choice. seemed like we were going with "you start the drive, you finish the drive" at RB during the middle of the game.
This. He was first out. ETN was #2. Then it didn’t matter much
Past couple of games it seems like Etienne, choice get the first half and Feaster and fuller second half.
Choice is better imo. Feaster looks so slow
I wonder if Feaster was a little hurt and it wasn't mentioned. It did seem odd he would come in for a run and then disappear for multiple series. Even with our rotations this season, he wasn't rotated so sparingly like last night.
Would also like to see him drop some weight for next season.
We need Feaster's big play ability for the homestretch here. Granted, ETN can give us that and more, but having the ball in the hands of a RB who can take a small opening and turn it into big yards will be critical versus Bama relative to how we've been able to attack them with DW4 the last two times.
2016 without question
16 vs 15 is a more interesting debate for me
I think 2016 Clemson and 2016 Alabama were better than any team this year. That said, 2017 Clemson would have beaten 2016 Washington or 2016 Ohio State easily.
Glad to see he made it to step 10
He's very fucked up psychologically
Welp, it was going to happen at some point. I don't think he goes there though
Happy for him and want him to be a HC if that's his goal, but don't want this distraction or to lose one of our OC's before facing Bama.
I think we can beat Bama, but only if we have a great plan offensively, don't want his attention anywhere else for the next 35 days or so.
Good for him but hopefully he doesn’t do anything until our season is over.
Frost is coaching the bowl game isn't he?
I think so yea, but i also just meant all the distractions of building a staff, dealing with administration, etc.. other HC stuff than just coaching. I just think we need Tony Elliot's A+ game to beat Bama.
I think we would definitely get that if he wasn't distracted.
